Help!! Bad!! Please!!

Hey im 16 and new to the game i have a MIDI, usb interface and speakers all by m-audio. i also have a laptop with windows 98 and a few software demos by reason and live. all i realy want to do is make drum beats and and add some other stuff. or even just play around with the midi. HOW DO I SET ALL THIS STUFF UP? I NEED HELP! ive tryed everything but i cant get it. i one day want to make beats for rappers and tv stuff

if all you've got is the Reason and Live demos they don't allow you to save your work to disk. Save up and get Reason --- 2.5 can be had for a good price with 3.0 out now. Reason's the program I use most when I want to get creative...

And don't bother with warez/cracked software --- they always break or just plain stop working at the worst possible time. And they're also illegal!
