I don't spend much time in the mic forum,so I'm kind of a newbie here.
Anyhoo,I keep hearing in the cave that the mic forum is so hostile and rowdie.
I'll cut to the chase,can you guys direct me to some threads where you're all being real assholes?I need to be entertained.
I would do some looking myself,but I don't want to go through page after page of your stupid opinions!
I just want the meat and potatos!

BTW,I care nothing about microphones,so the actual technical content of the thread needn't be of any particular quality!

This is a good start!My question was why does the mic forum have such a rep?I've not been able(with my very limited efforts)to find anything interesting!

I try not to recommend my own mics! But I'd recommend you cram one of them up your butt! Make it the tube, so the glass breaks on the way in! Enjoy a lifetime of hemorroids! :p

Hey, beezelbubba, I checked out a couple of your tunes. I gotta hand it to ya, you have almost entirely eliminated that awful spectre of dynamic range from your recordings. There is still about a 2dB peak to average ratio, which I'm sure is the expectation these days in the metal genre. Ain't digital technology grand?

The reason why his recordings suck is because he doesn't throw his head back and gargle JD while gagging on a 58 like his idol Lemmy!
 
Things have been a little tamer in here since DJL got banned. His rants against SP were legendary!
