Wow, Remember that Blind Melon Video where the fat bumble bee chick found all the other bumble bee people... well thats me right now. I am about to go pickup my AMEK Tac Magnum 36 channel Analog board. and boy am I lost, guy im getting it from is a friend of mine from the band 12 Stones, I recorded on the same board before with Dave Fortman, He has moved on to do bands like Evanesence, Superjoint Ritual.. etc.. Either way, I have been told that im going to need a tech to help me setup the board and the patchbay and the tt's and everything else. one thing i bet you guys will frown on is that other than running the analog board into a DAT recorder I am running into an Alesis HD24 Digital DAT. So take your swings as you will. :p Either way, I am looking for someone on here that will be able to help me Via e-mail or messenger, or phone ( I will call so you dont pay long distance ) setting this thing up, Maybe someone knows some good resources online. somthing, I have zero Direction. little to no idea what to do after I break my back moving this monster into my studio. But I know im going to be more than happy with this because for the last year i have been recording on a Roland HD2480 Digital Workstation... and I dont care for the sound at all.

I hadn't seen your original post until now and while this is the "Analogue" sub-forum it is mainly concerned with analogue recorders, your question would probably have received more attention had it been in the "Other Equipment and Reviews" section. Also, the Amek is probably way above the heads of all but a few people here.
