I'm mostly doing .asf files now but here is an mp3 of my classic rock band CATCH 22 doing an old blues tune. Live off the board at a Ft Worth Tx club Sharkys during a taping for local cable TV last spring.

Sweet performance/playing....but zero separation in the mix...wanna hear that organ, them drums, that bass.....integrated more into the overall sound...but I bet it was KILLER in the club....how did you mic the performance?.....any kin to Dan H. (Hot Licks)?...betcha get tired of people asking that...but had to ask, it's a Texas thang.....gibs

Hi Gibs
This was a club gig recorded for local cable TV.Everything was close miked, mostly 57s and 58s on a 24 channel board plus effects live feed stereo to vhs tape. That was my "master" so I couldn't do much tweaking. To add to my tracking frustrations,my drummer is somewhat studio-phobic so I'm mostly reduced to doing live demos. My side projects and more produced. If you want to hear a sample of that stuff go to my home page at
http://geocities.com/tomh888
and click on the "Real Project",jazz standards from the Real Book. That stuff is all .asf files done in the past few weeks.

Hiya, Tom, Mr. new user.

Hey, I really want to hear this, but I couldn't get it to download past 53%, twice.

Teddie-it streams on ISDN...

I just checked the link.At home on my 56K modem it downloads (using media player7)to approx. 30% and then plays.Maybe site traffic or other server related problem.Sorry, try it again later or other MP3s from my home page (link above).regards
