I use to use digital recording devices on my laptop back in the well a while ago and i would like to get back into it however i dont have alot of cash to spend at this time...maybe in the future so suggestions of what to buy are good too.\
What i wanted to know is what would be a good program to start with that is free that has the ability to record via microphones make drum beats and modify them within program, guitar lead tools as well as rythim and bass capabilities? any suggestions are welcome please let me know if its free or what im not apposed to shelling out a little for better quality either however free is a good word to me=)
