you can always EQ the sm57 and get that lower fatter tone. sure, the PR20 has a better tailored frequency response, and doesnt require much eq, but try layering (very carefully, mind you!!) 4 guitar tracks... 2 hard panned and 2 softly panned. you will get an ENORMOUS SOUND.
 
The main goal was to show the general difference between these mics not get awesome mix or cut EQ for fatter tone :)
