Heelp..how do I connect my gear?

I must have done something wrong because It is so much digital pops, clicks and glitches. How do I connect these gear together? Behringer ADA8000, PC with Logic Win. and DAKOTA sound card, AlesisHD24. Everything goes optical and ADA8000 is configured as master. Should something else be the master, or?
Everything goes in to ADA8000, then to DAKOTA, then out again to Alesis.
I have tried Logic clock as internal and Alesis as optical and Alesis as internal and Logic as optical, but there is still pops and clicks.
 
Set Dakota to master. Dump Logic, its VERY OLD if its a PC version. Download Reaper.
 
OK! I will do that. But.. one thing I wonder is if it must be any worldclock signal between
all the gears, ADA8000, DAKOTA and AlesisHD24?
 
It can sync thru ADAT. At least it should be able to. I havent seen one of those cards in some time.
