I was looking for another article in Mix Magazine On-line when I spotted this. It's either from the June or July.
It seems that Sennheiser (no, not me, the company) has caught a Chineese company illegally manufacturing look-alike Sennheiser's.
The models are the low-end 815 dynamic and the better model, the 835. They didn't say in the article how to identify these microphones.
Buyer beware at e-bay. There is a flood of these mics for sale there.
