Looking to buy a very comfortable and good headphone set any suggestions would greatly appreciated, and are the wireless any good ? Thanks

What are you gonna use the headphones for?
 
headphones

using them for mixing on computer, doing audio restoration, analog to digital, cassette and Lp. Thanks

Nope, not for what he wants to use them for. I'd go with the Sony 7506's, Sennheiser 280's, or the Beyer DT250's. Koss makes a nice open back set (which is also sold under the Radio Shack name) that's pretty comfortable, cheap, and smooth sounding. I think they're around $30 or $40.
 
I know - you were asking the use ... just hoping, hoping .... !! I just put the link in anyway so people knew what I meant. :)
 
I have some AKG 240 studios and think they sound great. They carry through all the highs AND lows as if there was a woofer in your ear. Many cheaper headphones as you know have NO BASS whatsoever in them. They are also very light weight and don't press on your ears so there is no pressure. They run for about $100. Don't need a phone amp for it either.
