I'm looking at these for my wife. She wants a simple pair of headphones to plug into her keyboard for play at home. They are $50 CAD. Has anyone had any experience with these - or better yet, advice for better headphones at a similar price?

I realize this isn't really a big purchase, so thanks for any input.
cheers

:D Yo half-a-step down:}

There are a gaggle of cans you can buy in your price range. If, as you said, they are just for your mate's listening, almost any brand will do.

If you can visit a vendor, Radio Shack, etc., you can let your spouse listen and decide.

Sony makes a plethora of cans at a medium price, as well as many others.

I use Beyer closed cans but these would run you about 70% more than your stated budget--probably not needed.

Enjoy the summer wherever.

Also the Sony MD150. Can get at Target, etc for about $20. Comfortable and sound surprisingly good. Will also handle a lot of volume much better than most cheap cans if the need arose.
