headphone trouble with alesis 8usb mixer

hey guys, i've recently picked up an alesis 8usb, and although it's great, i'm having some trouble routing the sound back from cubase le (the program it comes free with) back through the usb into the mixer and out the headphones. i've made sure of settings in the audio tab of 'sounds' in the control panel, aswell as in the vst multitrack tab in 'device setup' in cubase itself. i've attached a grab of the settings in cubase incase i'm getting them wrong (i read to change the asio driver to full duplex in an online manual by cubase.)
if anyone has had this trouble and fixed it i would be grateful to hear the solution!

Do you have the tracks selected to monitor in Cubase..?? When you open a new track look at the little button (that by default is unselected) right beside the record enable button on each track. When selected it'll turn from grey to orange. You have to select it for each track you want to monitor.
