Hi - Is there a simple (inexpensive) way to plug 2 different headphones into the same jack in my mixer? My concern is that they may have different efficiency & I might need some sort of volume control. Thanks.

The best method is to buy a headphone amp. Many models are available for < $50 that drive up to 4 sets of phones

Agree with jaygee, but if you're nearly broke there are headphone splitters with separate volume controls that are almost free. I got one for about about five dollars. Stopped working after two days of use, so yes, go with jaygee's advice on this one :)

You can (or used to be able to) get a 1/4" TRS male to double TRS female "Y" at Rat Shack. No volume control, though.

I have one and never use it.
Headphone amps are really cheap though and I'm thinking that a person could come up with a number of uses for one.

I have a couple or more, never use them for headphones, but they are cheap, compact and come in handy occasionally.
