HDD for Fostex FD-4

Hi can anyone help me, I've got a Fostex FD-4 - i've only used it a few times since I bought it but the internal Hard drive has crashed. The only hard drive that has been reccommended is the Toshiba MK2018GAP but are there any others on the confirmed media list, I can only find confirmed external drives. Also, how hard is it to fit and format a new drive for the FD-4? I don't fancy sending it away if I can do it myself.

Hoping someone out there can sort me out.

It is very easy to fit and formatt a HD for the FD-4 (finding one is the problem) you might want to check out www.fostex.com and see if there is an approve HD list if you haven't done so already. Also the OrB 2.2gb drive is compatiable with the FD-series it's an external, but it will hold a lot more than Zip drives, I think it's the next best thing than a HD
