Hi all,
Any ideas where I might find a recovery CD for my Zoom Hd16 multi-track?
I tried contacting zoom directly with no luck. It's an old piece of gear so it's been hard to track the recovery cd down.
Any leads appreciated!
Thx
This link is Fantastic https://www.mediafire.com/file/8w32akvsww0j5l5/HD16+Recovery.zip/file Make sure you burn the uncompressed zip file to a CD, without any label. You can include the PDF files so the HD 16 thinks its the factory disk. It may not work the first time and give you a sys up option. Select it and it will say error or something and Goodbye or chuck the CD out. Just power off and restart and press Clear again on boot up, it will eventually do a Hard Drive Scan, and when you get the Sys Ver Up option and select Yes this time, sure? etc it will shout success. Just try a few times, It has some clever brain in it. There are videos of how to change the hard drive on you tube if you wish to upgrade from the 80GB. It is IDE but there may be an IDE to SATA or SDD conversion kit floating about, however that job is not for the faint hearted.
