is it a wise decision to spend the money on an hd system?
i mean how many tracks are really needed?
can you achieve the same sound with LE if you use a high end ad converter and powerfull cpu?

Depends really on what you are wanting to do I guess. What is your ultimate goal? How much recording experience do you have? How many tracks are you wanting to do simulatneously?
