I found used Soundcraft 200B ( 16ch) for $600 and A&H SR416 for $750. I need 16/4 channel mixer which has 4 band EQs both have that feature. I'll be using it for live and some home recording. Since I'm in Canada and both mixers are in US - I won't be able to listen to each of them. Which one of these would be better for my needs - I'm in the Techno scene so I won't be using the Pre-amps at all only the EQs. Does anybody have any specs on the A&H SR416 or heard of it at all. I've searched the net no luck, also contacted A&H no answer. I know Tore and Recording Engineer both have 200B , but haven't seen anybody use the A&H SR416 . Also would I be able to get used GL200 (16ch) for $800 or am I dreaming. Any input would be appreciated, and please don't try to convince me of buy a Mackie board.

ThankS

Talk you out of a Soundcraft or A&H board and into a Mackie?.....not in this lifetime.......

Dont listen to tubedude.....sure Behringers rock.....but Radio Shack mixers are da bomb......

If you don't get that 200, send me an email. I may be interested, wife permitting.

You guys never ran out - do you? Well I found another 200B for $400 now stil don't know which way to go. Does anybody know how many direct outs are on the 200B model?

0 direct outs, or so the manual on soundcraft's website says. It's all busses and auxes as outs. Kind of a PITA, but for $400?!?

Where are you finding this stuff? If a Ghost comes up for under $4000 you better let me know!! I'll pimp my dog if necessary. My wife already OKd it. ;)
