I made this, thought it was all right...

Was trying to do that thing where the piano just "winds down" and "melts" in at the end....

Its called "Company", for no real reason I guess... *shrugs* I just wanna keep trying to do different stuff so I dont fall into a formulaic thing...

contains a quartet of strings and a piano...

Well, perhaps.

I cetainly note the difference in the start, with those long string notes making a change from you more usual stacatto.

I also appreciated how later the piano figure slotted in so neatly with those long notes.

However, there was not a lot to keep me engaged once I had heard and appreciated this combination, and so, from my perspective, musical development had finished after a couple of minutes.

I don't think, though, that this was intended to be a 'major opus' like 'Voices' with its vastly more complex musical development, and my impression that this was more of a study of a few textures and melodic interactions.
