Hi,
I have a question about which audio card I should use:
I have been using an Echo Mia Midi card without any problems and I think that it's a great card (for $99 :) ). I also have an M-Audio Audiophile 192 which is not installed, just sitting in a box.

I only need two inputs for recording. I don't care for the higher bandwidth on the Audiophile, as I record at 24/44.1, but the Audiophile has a wider dynamic range at 113dB versus 106dB for the Mia.
...so would I see any noticable difference if I installed the Audiophile? I just don't want to mess with my PC if there is no real benefit. What do you recommend?

My setup is:
P4 2.8HT with 1.5Gig
pres: DMP3 and Joemeek VC3Q
Mics: Sm57 and AT3035
various amps and guitars

Thanks,

I haven't used either of those cards, but I would suspect that there would not be any HUGE noticeable difference in the two. From what I've read and heard, I think Echo has a better reputation for higher quality converters than M-audio, and if you're not going to record in 192Khz anyways, than I don't see the point in switching. Besides, you've been using the Echo and have had great results. Keep it and sell the other one.
