Has anyone tried DBX hush NS?

Whats the deal with the DBX and Hush noise reduction? Hush says the IICX noise suppression is found in most riggs and home studios but Ive never heard of it. Is there anyone who owns one of them who can tell me if their worth buying and how they work?
 
I hope someone out there has had some experience with these things!
