Has anyone ordered from 8thstreet.com? Recommendations please.

Finally.....it looks as if I am going to have the money for a new synth in about a week. WoooHoooooo!!!

After going to music stores over the past couple 'o months, I have decided that I (with my limited synth knowledge) like the Alesis QS 7.1 as much as anthing else in its price range, but locally I would pay around $1150 + sales tax for a grand total of around $1245.

I checked out 8thstreet.com and hit the email quote button. Their price is $947 and they have free ground shipping for a limited time.

Am I missing something? Is this a good deal, or just too good to be true?

Is 8th street a reputable music dealer?

Any experiences and opinions welcomed...

hi...about 8th street...i go to thier site all the time for prices..ive never bought anything from them..but they have the LOWESTS prices ive ever seen...so i print out the web page and take it to my local music store...and ask them to match the price...and they always do....if they ever cant match it...im gonna try ordering straight from 8th street...good luck

I've ordered from 8th Street... They are good people... I ordered an ART dual mp preamp and they were out of 'em... They were waiting for a shipment from ART... While I was waiting for the shipment to arrive someone traded in a used one and they sold it to me for $150... Saved me $100...

8th street has good prices yes. Perhaps you have ordered from Zsounds and feel good with them? They claim they will match, beat and give you a discount certificate if anyone beats them... this may be a prime time to check in on that boast

If my mind doesn't change, I'll may give 8th Street a try.

I ORDERED A SHURE 4.0 MIC FROM THEM, I'T ARRIVED FAST AND IT WAS THE BEST PRICE I COULD FIND
