Has anyone ever posted a demo on here and went on to commercial success?

Where are the old-timers, wheel them out, dust the cobwebs off them...

If any pro or semi-pro engineers have worked with an artist and used Hr.com it'd be fun to hear about it. :)

I don't know how famous anyone has been, or gotten afterwards, but I have heard some damn fine music in here. And I agree with TimboZ, christian told us he is the most famous person ever. And they threatened to sue if you don't believe them. Got any power back, TimboZ?

There have been 2 that I know of but one already had a career in music, was already a Grammy winner and has performed on several movie/television soundtracks. The other has a new recording contract and last I heard was in the process of recording the album. I don't think his success was based on being discovered in the mp3 clinic though.

I wouldn't call them famous but i've worked with these guys www.redletteragent.com and posted some of their stuff a few years back. They have had just about every major label come knock on their door but no dice yet. Some play on MTV as well. You might see them soon, never can tell.

Also posted some work I did for this band www.canvassolaris.net . They are pretty big in the Tech Metal underground. Moving lots of cds but your average listener has probably never heard of them. They just secured their 2nd label/distribution deal so they are doing pretty well.

Ok so neither of those are famous and they didn't get where they are because of me or the mixing clinic. I have no idea where I was going with that.

OK, I'm going to finally tell the truth...

My names is not really Timothy Lawler, small town guitar teacher...

I'M ANDRES SEGOVIA, GREATEST CLASSICAL GUITARIST OF THE MODERN AGE. And I owe it all to the mp3 Clinic. Posted my first mp3 in 1926, was discovered and started concertizing throughout the world.

No... wait.... [thinking.... Segovia's dead]... wait... just kidding…

I'm really SABICAS, greatest flamenco guitarist in the world and....

No... wait... [thinking... he's dead too]... wait...

Wait... [wanders off from the computer in confusion]

Creamy milky bubble... creamy milky... milky bubble...

lay off the info-mercials with the crappy guitars.
BACK OFF! They look just like a $3000 handmade guitar.

Didn't want to brag, I'm actually Moams Wamsley, inventor of the quarter rest. Stop. Carry on.

the 3 mile long complaint list on Harmony central will back that one up.
The only customer satisfaction issues have resulted from customer negligence regarding watching [subliminal: I love Esteban] the [I love my Esteban guitar] instructional [It looks just like Esteban's $3000 guitar] video [Esteban is the master] that's provided to each customer FREE of charge.
