Has anyone ever heard of a Colt guitar?

Has anyone over heard of a company called Colt? I just played a Colt guitar today at a local music shop and I thought it was totally sweet, had a beautiful kinda goldish/yellow pearliod finish and had a very nice feel to it (I didn't plug it in though, I just picked it up and jammed on it). I think it was around $540. But I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of them and what the opinions are of them. I know I never heard of them before.

Are you thinking of Cort?

Cort is a Korean import in competition with Epiphone. I've seen some nice axes but I've never owned one. Lots of tone for the money. http://www.cort.com/

Now that you mention it, I just bought a Cort acoustic last week... in Seoul, Korea! (my third trip to Seoul)

Actually, Cort is THE korean guitar.... I am really impress with it's tone, workmanship and quality.... handcrafted and comes with a Fishman preamp.

Plus I got mine guitar for US$155! (I check online, the guitar is going around US$400) what a deal... !!

$540 sounds extremely high for a Cort. Extreeeemly high.

baldguy is right. They are middle of the line at best. I paid less for my used guild.
