That is pretty cool though! They know where there money is coming from....Heck this BBS is probably generating more money to these companys than we want to think about.

We should get Dragon to shanangle some free equipment out of them and then have contests to win stuff! That would be fun!

i don't know if you actually saw it, but just in case...i mentioned your name in a couple of responses to the big nasty thread goin on. i thought about it later and i feel like i didn't really have the right to do that, so....just wanted to say sorry if you felt the need to engage in that mess since i mentioned your name.
btw, i've since washed my hands of that thread.
 
If that were true than they owe Gidge a whole cabinet of mics. By the way why didnt they quote him, hes probubly said more good words about marshal mics than anyone on the face of the earth.

and before anyone who hasn't read what i put in the thread gets the wrong idea and wants to draw and quarter me, the two times i mentioned harvey's name was simply a matter of me greatly respecting his opinion. i just feel bad thinkin that he might have been drawn in by my comments

sorry, as usual i'm a little OT
i was refering to the "i just got my c3" thread that has turned into an all out war about bbs manners. i tend to ramble sooooooo, to get back ON TOPIC...

it was very cool that they quoted harvey, and i can't wait till i have enough money to buy one of those mics :)
 
anyone know what the difference between the 600 and 603s is?
 
I just wish someone would start importing Marshalls to Aust., then I wouldn't have to worry about dealing O/Seas.

BTW, mikey, it has turned into a "tit for tat" war between Tom Cram and CarmenC...........lol

on Gerst-tested mics?? You know,mic's that are effective,quality
and well-bilt for sayyyyyy under 50 bucks!!??:)

:) he's probably got 4870 marshall v67s and counting(the number of posts he has) and probably a good number of dmp2 mic pre's.... :D :D :D :D

I did point out two that I found recently for under $50. The Behringer ECM8000 at $30 each, and the Radio Shack 33-3020? at $49.95 each (although I suggested you wait till they put the mics on sale).
 
When Marshall Electronics feels the need to really spice things up, how about a V67/603S package?

Now, THAT would be something I would immediately jump on!
 
I wouldnt really jump on that, The local stores you break it you buy it policy might kick in.

Now a free B1 with a C1 does make good sense.

I hope Alan is reading this.
