Anyone familiar with him?
I was wondering about the signal chain - he's getting an all encompassing bass out of an acoustic guitar, yet the highs are crystalline. Acoustic slide blues, east Indian instrument training and influences, generally open D tuning. He has a huge sound for one instrument on a stage. I know he's using a Sunrise on his guitar, but there must be some processing at work.
