Hello,

I liked it. I loved when the guitar kinda came whistling in at around 1:10. I thought the vocals were overpowered by the rythmn guitar at times, just a little. Other than that I thought it was really good and interesting. Good luck to you

Ray J

thank you Ray for your time and interest. If you have an MP3 somewhere, I'd be glad to reciprocate.

The song kicked a good deal of butt :)
I liked the rythmn guitar distortion sound. Very detailed sound. Didn't like the whistling in part quite as well though, (my opinion) The vocals could be up a notch higher, I think. Kind of a robotic Alice Cooper sound. Really good. Didn't like the twinkly synthy stuff near the end as much. But I liked the organs in the same part.

What did you use to record this?

I appreciate the wuss picture, after hearing the song.

Funny you should mention that mxmkr, I happen to have a post on this board right now. Just look for Ray J, under thread starter. peace

thanks jet for your time also...and comments. I used Cooledit Pro, Waves I and II, mixed to a DAT with some Alesis Wedges for verbs, edit with Sound Forge XP4.5. (back to the computer via SPDIF with my Gina card). The guitar is direct using the ProCo Rat and a Digitech Whammy, and the rest is pretty much synths. A 57 on vocals.

Way better vocal than Alice ever did...and I dug the "whistling" guitar....all the guitar sounds were wonderful...everything sat really well in the mix to my ears...and oh yeah, the organ sound was cool as hell....gibs
