Im preparing to upgrade my studio.I need to find an FX processor that can do the chorus's well. The Harmonizing effect...For example like In "Cry me a River" on the hook when its harmonized saying "Cry me a River" I need that effect..its powerful.Any suggestions would help. =)

95% of the sound in the Cry me a River`s hook is a lot of vocal tracks, not a Harmonizer........

most people are confused about what a vocal harmonizer can or cant do. It seems most folks think that it is a backup vocalist that sings some pretty harmony with you. For the most part it will double a set interval that you tell it to. If you punch a button it will "sing" or harmonize one third, or a fifth (or whatever you decide) above the actual note that you are singing.

So if you sing C C D E G C as notes on a scale.... it sings the third
E E F# G B E... almost like chopsticks.

Most people who sing with you and add harmony will swoop around the key with you picking the best note that fits. A Harmonizer tends to sound exactly as it is... like a machine. Now you CAN set it up to change intervals with a midi unit as the trigger. But honestly, if you can sing to any degree you will be far less frustrated by simply singing a second vocal track and going with standard effects like reverb or chorus.
