Hi,

Are there any good harmonizer plugin out there? Also what's a good plug in to make yourself sound robotic. I've tested out Autotune and Harmony EvO they are pretty cool but I'm looking for more fun plug ins to test out. How do people normally harmonize in a let's say "Pop" music? Do they make the vocalist sing the same lines two or three times in different pitch/tones? I've heard of a tool in Adobe Audtion called pitch shift...Do they use that to harmonize?

Most FX units have a Vocoder effect....that's the one you want for robot vocals.

That's the best way to do it...either with one person singing each different harmony and you record them one at a time...or a few people singing together and harmonizing.

The "harmonizer" boxes will give you something usable (sometimes)...but nothing like actual singing of harmonies.
