Hi, I have been recording for a little bit, but I am trying to get into recording hardcore. I can't find any videos or books teaching how to do the classic effects put on hardcore exp. bass drops (I can make these but would like to improve them), vocal stutters (same thing I can do these but if people have tips to make them cleaner/easier that would be nice) guitar flutters and all the processing involved in producing the mainstream hardcore bands. I can't figure out some of the effects the engineers are putting on them. Does anyone have a clue where I could learn these things.

any "specific" examples you can link?

I know the stutters thing can be done using a triggered gate or something. Never done it myself, but you use the rhythm guitar or something so that the vocals "stutter" in the same rhythm. Don't ask me how exactly you do it though. I have no clue. =P
