The guitar is just a Line 6 toneport tripple recto patch, recorded 4 times, 2 times using one mic setting and 2 times using a different one. And panned to taste.
Really? Huh....the thought crossed my mind but it sounds pretty convincing. Line 6 puts out decent stuff. I had a Vetta II for a long while. Great amp.

Listening now Very Cool & rocking! Reminds me a bit of Life of Agony off the river runs red album.
That is at least the vox and some of the melodys.

Great mix! Nice drum sound too.

Gonna have to save this one;)

Hey monkey, powerful mix! Comes on real loud, which fits the song. Rocks :D Solo slowdown, then rockout is perfect for this song too. Nothing really to add from me as far as recommendations go. Keep it up, especially dig the vocal sound in your songs :cool:

i happen to like the kick sound :) kick ass song all around man...give us more !!

Thanks for all the feedback, I recorded another song last week. A pretty heavy one but I want to retrack the drums since my playing wasn't tight enough. I tuned the snare a tad higher, put some moon gels on the toms, and got a small pillow for the kick drum so the inside mic doesn't pick up such a hollow sound, it also sounds tighter. I'll post that one up soon.

Actually, I'm going to be sampling my kit and it will be available through rayzoon.com with the new Jamstix version 2. It will be a seperate add on pack. Jamstix is already a great program and the samples should come out really nice and the prices over there are great when compared to the alternatives... Although there really isn't an alternative to the actual Jamstix vst since it is like a virtual drummer.

Interesting you said you bounced a basketball...I've always thought that The Beatle's 'Love Me Do' reminded me of one of those bouncy balls being bounced. Like one of those basketball sized kids balls that bounce really well. It has that sound that you get when it springs up off concrete or the floor. I get reminded of that when I listen to Love Me Do. Not that I ever thought that was what they did in the recording.

Nice tune dude....I like it much. It sounds like a mixture of several of my favorite bands...drums are cool. Whole tune is cool. I love the vox...nice job man....
