I have a VS-880 that's approximately 3-4 years old (not EX), and I believe it only has 1 GB of hard drive memory. I want to upgrade it to 3 GB (I take a lot of tracks), so I called Roland tech support last week. They said to just go out and buy any laptop hard drive up to 3 GB and it'll work.
Well, none of the computer supply stores in my area have anything smaller than 10 GB, so I started searching online. I found several, but they're all different sizes (with no pictures, natch), from 9.5 mm to 19 mm, so I'm not sure what will work on mine.
Has anyone had experience with upgrading a hard drive on their VS-880 or have any idea what size will work?
