We all know that IBM telesto drives are the best to use for Music Applications,

but there is some talk that Fujitsu drives are getting to be rather good too...

Has anyone got any experience with Fujitsu drives for Multitrack sequencers (such as Logic).

Fujitsu drives are so much cheaper too!!!!

:)

thanks again

I read an article that claimed the IBM dtla series were one of the fastest drives out there. That was a few weeks ago though. Any one else have an opinion of the dtla?

I wouldn't use anything but a Maxtor on my DAW at this point. I can pull off 90+ Tracks off a single 7200 RPM drive with Plugins on almost everything.. Thats fast enough for me..

OK, so I'm trying to figure out what I want in my hard drives for the DAW I'm _trying_ to build:

Should I do two EIDE drives set up RAID or not?

I'm currently thinking of getting TWO Seagate Barracuda III 30GB 7200RPM 8.9ms drives as they are on sale locally for $99 each.
