Harbinger HA1000 Powered Mixer

I'm thinking about getting this mixer for my 4 piece band...
I have two passive mains burt was wanting to add maybe a powered subwoofer.
Is it possible to do with this mixer??
 
You can add a sub but you'll be missing out on one of the main advantages, taking the lows out of the main speakers. That box mixer-amp doesn't have the needed routing options.

I can see why box mixers are attractive to musicians, but they're generally full of compromises like limited routing and poor channel eq. With a separate mixer and amp you'll have more flexibility for things like adding a sub, upgrading the mixer while keeping the same amp etc.
 
Maybe it's coincidence, but two of the three worst sounding PAs I heard in the past two years have been Harbingers. At volumes you may actually need, they bordered on the unintelligible. The other was a Mackie-Crown-JBL EON system with EV monitors---the monitors sounded great, the mains sounded like cereal boxes. I'd be willing to bet that one of the three was set up poorly.
