Classic... Not the type of tune to listen to when you're fighting off a headache though. Ouch. Figured, knowing your ears, that the toppiness was intentional..

Damn nice guitar flourishes here and there too. Good stuff. :drunk:

Thanks Armchairistice. Yeah I've heard of Radio Birdman before. Not too bad.

I like the mix bright and screechy, like dirty surf-punk, but I made another with a little more balance and the top end tamed a little. New mix up top.

It's still rather bright and all reverby and shit, but perfect as is ... like it's supposed to sound sort of bright Velveeta cheezy.

It's gettin' to be that Halloween isn't Halloween without a song from Greg. This year didn't disappoint, either. Hehe... Maybe I'm getting these mixed up with your Christmas songs, but whatever. Can't wait to see what you whip up for Christmas, either!

Thanks for sharing, dude. Happy Halloween.

Great fun. Have to agree, bright and reverby really suits. Very tight, great sound.

Ha....trust you not to disappoint on Halloween, your favourite holiday!:D
It does sound very bright to my ears, but hey, if that's what you were going for....
now, let's go smash some pumpkins!:drunk::D:D:D:D

I saw Rob Younger, the lead singer of Radio Birdman/the Other Side/New Christs/New Race two Fridays ago. He lives in a coastal village about 8kms from my place. He was walking up the hill over the rail bridge carrying a plastic shopping bag (a diposable one too!). Oh how sad that the mighty are required to live amongst mortals. I didn't stop to tell him he was a rock legend - too embarrassing for both of us.
Reverbby & bright sounds just right.

Thanks PI. I gotta get with the chilluns and see what we're gonna do for Christams this year. They're getting to the age where they're dreading it cuz they know mama's gonna put it all over facebook and shit and their friends are gonna hear it.

Thanks toad. :)

Thanks Joey. It's bright and reverby. But is it painfully so? I don't think so, but maybe I'm too familiar with it by now.

Most rock legends are dirty degenerates like the rest of us that just lucked out somehow. In fact, they're probably more flawed and fucked up than regular never-been-famous folk. I'd love to see Bono walking down the street, stopping to scrape old chewing gum off his ten million dollar shoes while a car zooms by splashing him with stagnant puddle water. :D.

great, rubbish, nonsense, excellent...love the guitar sound and your wee keyboard bit, surftastic...

great tune dude...and an unhappy helloween!

Lol. Thanks dude. Maybe the kazoos will come out on my Christmas song. :D

thats right, sorry mate... i forget which holiday is the kazoo fest :D

Heh... I can't remember if I commented last time I listened or not, and I'm too lazy to check, so... Just in case I didn't - this rocks. The mix was balanced, everything had its place, drums were bombastic as usual, and .... well.. yeah... It's a Greg-mix, what do ya expect?

my friend Luis Berrios said it could do with some professional mastering :D

And yeah, you already commented, I think. :D

Ask him if he could recommend someone.
