I think so....these mics are short, hairy and sound realy anoying don't they?

I think there are three of them in the lineup, and they sound good on doo-wop (or is it Mmmm-bop?) music....and they were only popular for a little while....

They only work well on rehashed pop....One's for guitar, one for keys and one for drums....no bass mic though...

Only fault is they never made a bop filter....Sorry moskus!

No, that's allright!

You guys are funny!:D

(For the record: I've got one, and to me it sounds better than the Røde NTK)

Hehehe...thanks man....Have you got a pic or two you can post....I've never heard of them before...

Hi moskus..
At the moment there are 9 recording mics in the line up.
The models are recognized for their warm, natural, ambient sound.
The microphones are distributed in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, The Netherlands.

And to memriloc: There are also two different bop filters.
By the way. I thought this was ment to be a forum where members could get
correct and useful info, but how can we trust info as long as guys like this memriloc
is writing comments to things he know nothing about?

The Hansen mics are manufactured in China.
This business started many years ago. At that time there was not many
Chineese mics in the market, but we had brands like Joe Meek, Audix (some of the models) and Røde, even if the Røde mics were Chineese parts put together in Australia.
I was chasing a nice mic for my home recording studio
and used my contacts in the far east to get in contact with
manufacturers and bought several samples.
Common for most of them was that they did not have the open
sound I was looking for. After checking all samples I started to mix
different capsules and preamps and got one mic that had the sound
I was looking for (a nice open roll-of in the high frequency end).
This microphone was specified and put into production. Since that time the
components in the preamp and transformer has been improved to reduce
variations in sound. Based on this first microphone a budget model has been specified. Later I have added a few more standard models carefully picked out from a jungle of models. Even if there are differencies between the models, all mic models have similar sound. Common for all models are the same natural open kind of roll-off at the top and a warm, open mid range.
This makes the mics sound ambient in my ears. I do not say that the models are the best sounding mics in the world, but I hope they are among the best sounding Chineese manufactured mics, and truly deliver "Value for money". Lucky for me, I am not the only one in this world that thinks so.

Thanks for following through with such a good description!
