Maybe bring the intro piano sound down when the vocal starts? Vocal pitchiness at 0.40 and 0.44 and maybe elsewhere as well? If I'd done this, I'd have worked that background synth a bit differently - instead of having it play incessantly in the background throughout the song, how about bringing it in only at some points for a bit of energetic uplift? Just ideas...
 
sounds like an 80's love song. I mean that in a good way.
Im gonna have to agree with dobro about the synth.

Hi dobro..thanks for your comments. Yes I agree the piano synth thing should be broken down with another instrument to replace it. I've redone the vocals and added drums and more lyrics, backing vocals too.
