Wicked Machine
I've got a buddy with a Hafler 50 watt amp that he was using to power some cheap KRK monitors. He dumped the monitors and wants to go with actives so he's got this amp with no home. he's also got my Ampeg 4/12 at his place that I had loaned him until I get my ampeg amp fixed. I've never ran the preamp/power amp route for my guitar setup but I wouldn't mind messing around with it. The only pre's I have are a Joe Meek and a RP2000. Would any of you guys bother with the TA1100? Also my 4-12 cabinet is 16 ohms and I think the TA1100 is an 8 amp?

Thanks!

BUMP

I'm bumping this but kind of adding to my question(s)....

If I wanted to go with a preamp/power amp setup for my guitar rig what are some of the better power amps to use? And how much power rating is best to use in this kind of setup?
