Anyone using these monitors , how good do they sound, GC is selling them for $89.99 each....

I tried them out for a few weeks and there is NO WAY on earth you can place low end with these unless you use a sub-woofer.....
I politely brought them back and ran to the local Tannoy dealer and bought some Proto-J's....not bass heavy, but gives you enough to "learn"...$185/pr

A local store here in KC was selling them for 50.00 each. But gidge is right they lack too much low end. The proto-js are an improvement but I returned mine for the same reason.
