Hackensack recording..

This is a cover of Hackensack. This is my 2nd recording with the presonus firebox. All the other songs on my myspace (besides the one that isn't me) was done with just the onboard sound card... terrible quality all hte way around, and was done about 2 years ago or more.

Let me know how the mix and stuff sounds.. its just acoustic guitar, vocals, and then I added in some slight backup vox and some lead acoustic guitar.

Nice vox. It might be the My space player but the mix seems very dry and dull. By that I mean no tone at all. Good cover tho. Good job.

Its not AS BAD when I play it on Sonar compared to myspace.. but its still not very vibrant.. I blame a lot of it on the acoustic guitar. Its not a good sounding guitar at all lol. Recorded vocals with a SM58.. but I thought they sounded alright (tone wise). But the acoustic is the biggest problem.

Anyone got any tips on "juicing" up a dull acoustic guitar??
