Oh yes, I worked at a farm in my childhood, that did it the old fashioned way. Stump, axe, Tom's doing back-flips for 30 seconds without heads. Quite disturbing, yet cool at the same time. Must say, I was not a big fan of poultry for a while back then. MacDonalds was much more humane right?
 
My Dad used to keep chickens {horrible insect ridden, incestuous fowl ! :D} and a sight I'll never forget is seeing six of them with their heads cut off jumping and running all over the garden. They weren't that tasty either.
 
That guy behind her kept looking at the cameras. He was killing them on screen on purpose as she stood there. Great tv moment for sure... :D
 
Yeah someone had to of put him up to that one for sure!
 
Now if they'd only feed her into the machine. THAT would be great TV.
 
What takes so long is the blood has to drain from the turkey, or you'd be up to your ass in blood, maggots, and bacteria in no time.Yeah, being a turkey sucks, but the more you get to know them, the less you care. And as far as Palin goes, I can think of no place she belongs more than on a turkey farm where they are slated for death. If she isn't a turkey, who is?
