Gyraf G9

Hi,

My dad built me a Gyraf G9 pre-amp.

When i connect a bas guitar to it , i clearly hear a difference.
But with a mic , I hardly hear a difference.
I tested with a Shure SM57 on a Marshall 1960 case on a Soundtracs 16 solo desk.

Chain =

SM57 -> XLR -> Gyraf -> XLR -> soundtracs solo 16
3 possibilitys:
I'm deaf
I connected/configured it wrong
The gyraf has technical malfunctions


Any ideas?

Hi Blor,

It's not clear to me what you mean by "hear a difference".

For general troubleshooting of the Gyraf projects, you may try looking through the related forums at www.groupdiy.org - there is a thread named "Meta-meta" that (tries to) organize that forum thematically.
