I'm reading a week or two about all of the digital soundcards here and must make a decision..
I have a spiritfolio F1 analog mixer, have my Pentium III AMD Athlon , Cubase running and have a SB Live platinum card.. :((

I want to make cnages to my setup and to buy a proffesional soundcard in budget range of 600-700-800$.. I read about Layla 24 and Delta but I can find none of them in my country..No local dealers..
I only got these in my nearby.. Digidesign 001, Creamware PULSAR II, all MOTU's..What do you suggest me using my present setup??

help me to make a decision ..

Thanx for your help

You can't possibly have a Pentium3 AMD Athlon as they are two different processors and very important that you know which one you have when you are picking a soundcard, as there are some compatability issues, which is being discussed in another thread currently...you may want to check it out...its a few threads down from yours in this forum...

SORRY .. :))

Buddy, I made a mistake writing down two different processors.. I have an AMD Athlon processor and Soyo motherboard..
Any sugestions for soundcards?

Cheers

No biggie,

I wont be much help here..if you had a Pentium I'd have some suggestions...So many manufactures wont guarantee compatability and some (digidesign)list the AMD as known incompatable...you may want to contact the other manufacturers and if if their product was tested with AMD processors...

NO PROBLEM..

No problem at all, buddy..
I can easily turn my processor into pentium If that's better for most of the soundcards..

Make me a suggestion about pentium user friendly cards..

But important thing to me is my setup..A card which can be working best alomg with my mixer, pc.. Can you suggest me some for great use in computer recording process?

Thanx
