What I am looking for is an inexpensive and simple drum machine, which also produces bass sounds, and is easy to program. I have no need for lots of different drum, percussion and bass sounds. As long as I can program patterns easily which will just keep playing until I press Stop, as it were, that's fine. More than practicing my soloing from a technical point of view, my need has more to do with music theory. For example, I want to be able to program a series of simple blues sequences, so that as I solo over them, my insights into note choice and melodic ideas in the context of certain chords and chord progressions deepens, which is the foundation I need right now.
So, any suggestions?
