Guitar Tracks Pro at 24Bit ? NOT!!

Hello all,

Does anyone know what I have to do to enable 24Bit in GT Pro? I try to change the settings but it defaults back to 16Bit.

I am using an Audiophile 24/96 card and Win2K OS.

Is it a Driver issue ? and if so, what do I need to do to resolve this issue?

Not familiar with GT Pro, but I suspect it is similar to Sonar.

In Sonar there are two bit depth settings: Audio Driver and File Bit Depth. Are you changing both settings and then reprofiling your sound card after the change?

After that, you should exit and re-enter the program. Hopefully that will work for you.

Hello all,

This may be helpful to some.

I received a reply from cakewalk regarding my problem, and this is what they said.

:Try downloading some MME drivers from www.midiman.com GT Pro cannot record in 24bit using some WDM drivers. Delete GP2AUDDX.INI from the GT folder once you've done so:
