i did a gig this past sat night and ran my guitar (strat) into the instrument input on my joe meek vc6q pre- amp.. with the eq and the opti compresser on (had the conpresser cranked hard). All I can say is "WOW!" incredible sustain and harmonic feedback (pinch-pickin' sound that would make billy gibbons eat his heart out)...monster guitar sounds...clean guitar sounds to die for. it just flat out blew me away! This unit is good in the studio and good in a gigging situation too.

I put my VC3Q in the XF loop of my Mesa DC-3, -always liked the sound! Thats also how I record when I want the to use the Mesa pre-amp.

i have be real happy with the joe meek, it does so many things...a colored sound....an uncolord sound...dynamite bass pre....ditto on guitar pre and mic pre. its just a great unit

cool

I'm curious to hear what my VC1QCS will sound like...I've not tried too much with it yet..but I know I'll dig it.
