Ok, so what I want to do is be able to play my guitar/bass through my computer, I've got an M-Audio Fast track pro, FL studio 10, and EZMix2...I'm wanting to use the EZMix2 amp simulators for my sound, and do this in real time, not add the EZMix2 sounds after I record. My computer is powerful enough to do so but I'm having trouble getting the software to do what I want it to do. I've got EZMix2 loaded into FL studio, and my guitar plugged into Mic/instrument 1 on the M-Audio box...

The instrument/line button isn't pressed in, I've got the mix knob all the way to the right so as to hear the output from FL studio

and my best guess is it has something to do with what is in FL studio mixer

I'm not sure what to use for the IN and the OUT options
IN:
M-Audio USB ASIO - Mono
Line in 1 Fast Track Pro
Line in 2 Fast Track Pro
S/PDIF In L Fast Track Pro
S/PDIF In R Fast Track Pro

Out:
"None"
"Analog 1/2 Fast Track Pro"
"S/PDIF 3/4 Fast Track Pro"

So anyone have any clue as to which of these to use and any other little things I need to click onto get the sound of EZMIX2 through my headphones when I play a note on my guitar?

Input is whichever channel on the Fast Track you have the bass plugged into.

Output should be Analog output 1/2 on the Fast Track.

Echo audio on the individual track.

Why aren't you using the "instrument" setting on the FT?

Not familiar with EZMix2 but you need to check mixer settings in it to make sure the output is on.

When you hit a note on the bass do you get any movement in the meters in FL10 or on the Fast Track?

Ok so if I'm plugged into mic/instrument 1 I'd use the Line In Fast Track Pro

What's this echo audio?

For the FT box, instrument=unpressed while line=pressed, at least I think that's what your talking about, and I have it unpressed

I'll see if I can find the setting for that

And when I hit a note the signal light lights up on the FT box but there is nothing that shows anything is happening in FL studio

Echo audio is a function that forwards the input of what you are recording to the hardware output.

You may need to arm the track for recording in order to get the meters to function in FL.

I use Sonar and that is the case with that DAW. I don't use FL or EZMix but all of the DAW's and VST's have fairly similar functions.
