I haven't tried it. But the january issue of Computer music magazine has it on the CD and features a small tutorial on how to use it. They use midiyoke as a lead between the guitarsynth and the sequencer. Otherwize it seems like a fairly straightforward setup. They plug the guitar straight into the soundcard and say "preferrably into a mic input". I'd just use a mixer into the line-in instead.
wow...that looks cool. Unfortunately, my computer is too wimpy to handle it, but I'd sure be interested in how it does. Sell the GR-33 and get a new computer.
for $39, I'd like to see someone step forward and be the guinea pig!!
Actually, you can play with it without paying a single $. You'll probably want to spend the money in the long run , but the features cut from the downloadable version in no way should make it useless. I think the Computermusic mag had some kind of special offer on the full version btw. Don't remember the details.
