I know guitar rig and amplitube are the best amp simulator plugins out there.

Wrong. Waves came out with a guitar simulator that sounds better then both of those. Its 500 bucks though.
Guitar rig def sounds a lot more processed and less natural then amplitube.
Amplitube 2 is coming out soon, should be able to compete with waves, but isnt going to be cheap, 500 bucks.
