Guitar Rig 4, is there a Music Production software that runs it better than another?

Hey guys what's up, well i have kind of a problem using Adobe Audition 3 and Guitar Rig 4, the thing is that, when standalone, Guitar Rig sounds as it should to, with a perfect tone, but when i use it as a VST plugin with Adobe Audition 3, it loses gain and distortion, it's just not the same, do you think i can change to another program to make it sound better??

I doubt the program itself would have anything to do with the sound.

Did you check all of your settings in Audition to make sure they're not doing anything? Is there anything on the master track like compression or EQ? Are they at the same volume (sometimes a drop in volume can really change the tone of the guitar)? Could the standalone also be effected by some sort of setting on your computer (i.e. the sound card or something else)?

If all else fails, and I'm wrong about the host effecting the sound, Reaper is only $40 (free trial can't hurt to try), and I guarantee it won't effect your sound.

That sounds pretty effing annoying - what's the problem with software makers nowadays?
