guitar pod = radio signal ????

when using my guitar pod i can hear a faint radio signal ! has anybody else ever had his or know what cures it ?

thanking anybody in advance for a light they can shed on this.

Make sure the outlet it's plugged into is grounded, and make sure that any instrument cable isn't touching a power cable, and if it is, make sure they're crossing each other instead of running parallel to each other.

Are you connecting the POD outputs to an amp/pre-amp device or are you using headphones? If you're doing one, try the other. Break it down to the simplest components. Try a different cable, if you have a really short patch cable try that, if you have the opportunity to try a different guitar do it, also if you've got switchable PUPs see if that helps.

I guess where I'm going is, is the problem coming into the POD from the guitar and/or cable, is it on the output device or is it really coming from the POD.

i only noticed it with the headphones conected to the pod when it goes through the desk it is not there,and you can only hear it whilst you are playing(if you strummed a chord once and let it ring as it was almost gone you can hear the radio as soon as you stop it stops)

Sounds like it may be the headphone cord... try another set of cans.

When you say it'd not there when you play through the desk, have you monitored through the same headphones?
