Guitar has no body

It's just a neck. Did I get ripped off? WTF?? Where do I attach the strings?
 
You appear to have purchased an air guitar whose neck has snapped and was replaced by someone unqualified and not up to the repair.

You think you've got problems...I bought a set of strings and they sound like shit. Fucking music store employees don't know shit about anything--they never told me that you have to attach them to something. And now I'm out seven bucks. :mad:

We had a guy in the shop today, probably weighed in at 450-500 pounds, about 6'2". BIG guy. He was picking up his Steinberger. One of the little ones. Looked funny as hell.

Ah. I just figured out the problem. That's called a "drum stick".
 
I was scrounging around in my spare parts collection and discovered that I have a couple of those myself, along with bodies with no neck and assorted little funny looking rectangular things with wires sticking out of them. I even found one with all those things connected together, I wonder how did that get in there?
 
Look for signs of feathers;you may have bought a chicken neck.If it is a Martin,I have a guitar tech friend who is the worlds best but he only works on Martins.He is the Martin luthier king!! :D
